Platform fun

Wow. Getting GTB to run smoothly on my laptop might prove fun. Methinks it uses more horsepower than GSB did, at least judging by my first tests. The photo reflects badly from the GTB battles cloud-cover effect :(

But it runs, that’s the main thing. Time for some serious profiling on my min spec laptop now. Plus, GSB running on something called the ‘i-pad’. That looks fun!

  1. Cliff, stop being a dinosaur :)

The iPad is a new device, don’t compare it to a laptop (it’s something completely different). You’ll end up adopting one, you know you will. I am about the same age as you and my iPad doesn’t leave my side. It isn’t designed to work with excell or what ever tools a computer is designed for, but it is excellent for casual surfing, emails, games (basically, what’s 99% of the population use their computer for)… It’s the future, why can’t you see this :)

  2. hmm…gsb on ipad. This might get me to spend some serious time figuring out my builds during long train rides.

  3. Great to learn that work is still being done on the iPad version of GSB! Any word on how it runs so far?

  4. Running on an Ipad will be sweet… love game, wishing i could take it with me where-ever i roam…
