Some zapping and blasting

I finally got some not-temp art in there so the ships don’t look so out of place. And I’ve got the system working so you can drag and drop spaceship modules to create new ships, which is nice

  1. I’m not entirely sure on how the module system works but looking at the damage system you had a few blogs previous does that mean each module will be destructible? For example could you shoot off an enemies engine and they would be immobile? Because if so it would be awesome if the shields could protect anything in them for example in the screenshot the front area of the ship that is just poking through the shields could be defended by the other ships shielding where as the rest could get attacked.

    You could set up some awesome Romanesque box formation type situations ;)
