There are currently no known bugs or issues with the game. For maximum performance on your PC we recommend that you:

Shut down any background programs when running the game

Ensure you have the latest drivers for your video card

Make sure your PC is free from viruses or other malware. We recommend Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes anti-malware (both are free downloads)

Make sure the hard drive you run the games from is not heavily fragmented

Every now and then (at least once a week) reboot your PC.

If you require tech support, your first stop should be the Gratuitous Tank Battles forums. If you cannot find the answer to your problem here or in the forums, then you can email cliff, the games programmer at cliff@positech.co.uk. Please be sure to give as much information as possible about any crash. The game stores it's debug crash logs in \my documents\my games\gratuitous tank battles\debug.
Please keep all bug reports polite and informative. We don't like the game to have bugs any more than you do, and we will do our best to resolve any bugs we can find.

If you have problems with the game hanging when 'connecting to bletchley park', this is a firewall isssue. We recommend telling your firewall to allow Gratuitous Tank Battles to access it's server, as without this, you miss out on many of the games features.

Never share your GTB serial code with anyone else. Codes that are shared may be disabled, and new codes will not be issued in that situation. If you ever experience problems re-downloading your game after a hard disk wipe, just email us if you need help. Your game will always be available to you for later re-downloading, forever, at zero cost. If it stops working, just tell us and we will re-activate it.
