At one point, it suddenly occured to me that something that wasn&#8217;t glowing in the dark, and should be was the internal cockpits of some of the larger mechs.<\/p>\n<p>Tada! (decided to test it in green)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/positech.co.uk\/cliffsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/lights.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1442\" title=\"lights\" src=\"http:\/\/positech.co.uk\/cliffsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/lights.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"415\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.positech.co.uk\/cliffsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/lights.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.positech.co.uk\/cliffsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/lights-300x207.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This effect took way more effort than you would have thought, and possibly slows things a tad, I will do some more optimising nearer release. I think it looks quite cool though. And yes, the player can customise the brightness \/ color of the cockpit just like any other layer in the mechs.
