I asked ONE question, and got 6 replies. For this, my account unlocked what seemed like a dozen &#8216;badges&#8217; and &#8216;achievements&#8217; I think I got some &#8216;reputation&#8217; and probably other crap too. Meh&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I notice project wonderful is doing the same thing. As an advertiser, I can unlock &#8216;achievements&#8217; there too.<\/p>\n<p>Sorry but this is bullshit. I like earning super-duper-medals when I&#8217;m pretending to be space captain cliffski or slaying dragons, but when I pick advertising or debug my code I don&#8217;t need to be treated like I&#8217;m playing pokemon. It&#8217;s just silly. I&#8217;m sure it *works*, and makes busienss sense, but I still find it a bit weird. <\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s the strangest place you&#8217;ve encountered points, achievements and gamification lately?
